-Skiing at Marmot Basin:  1675 acres of slopes and runs, 84 trails and 3000 ft of vertical terrain

-Maligne Canyon – Interpretive hiking trail runs along a 165ft gorge with multiple levels of bridges.  In summertime the Maligne River rushes through the canyon.  In the winter, take a guided ice walk tour along the canyon floor. 

-Maligne Lake – The second largest glacier fed lake in the world. Rent a canoe, go trout fishing, hiking or take a scenic boat cruise to Spirit Island.  In the winter, enjoy cross country skiing.

-Mt Edith Cavell – A half day trip from Jasper with a drive along a steep and winding road.  A wonderful hike along the Path of the Glacier Trail takes you to a powder blue melt-water pond and views of Angel Glacier. 

-Columbia Ice fields – Take a scenic drive along the Ice fields Parkway to the largest ice field south of Alaska.  Enjoy a snowcoach tour to the Athabasca Glacier seeing icy crevices, ice fed streams and walk the glacier.  On your way back, stop at Athabasca Falls, with its series of trails, platforms and bridges. See the falls thundering over a 70 ft cliff. 

-Jasper Tramway – a must do attraction.  See lakes, mountains and glaciers from 7400 ft above sea level.  Each tramway car hold up to 30 people and the journey takes 7 minutes to the top. Wander along the boardwalks for hike to the summit of the mountain.   In the town of Jasper, you’ll also find lots of restaurants, shops and bars.
